Barbara County, where some of us live, more than 10% of all jobs are provided by Nonprofits, more than
government or any other industry. Some studies show that over the past 50 years, Nonprofits have become the
largest movement worldwide.
Yet Nonprofits are constantly under pressure to do more with less. Some of us at KDNA™ have had
previous careers in the Nonprofit sector, so we know how important it is to enfranchise staff, build
strong bridges within the community, network with other groups, and accomplish goals and projects as
effortlessly as possible.
Nonprofits and Associations must avoid the extra overhead costs of duplicated learning efforts. They also
need to share best practices to deliver high-quality programs and services. Our KDNA™ Nonprofit / Association

Collaboratives are groups of Nonprofits or Association Members in a similar area of interest that want to share
ideas, information, plans, and resources to "raise the tide, raise the boats" for all concerned.
